Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Strategy to fortify our business growth strategy and integration initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Leadership Team to shape business strategies, drive strategic initiatives, facilitate business planning, and oversee project management across our private equity and private credit divisions. The ideal candidate will possess a background in asset management with exposure to technology, operations, and AI/data strategies within the alternative investment sector. Additionally, they should demonstrate strategic acumen, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to collaborate across business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Understand business needs and formulate practical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Conduct business impact assessments, develop financial models, and propose design recommendations.
  • Analyze market insights and competitor information to identify trends, product gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and assess their strategic implications.

Strategy Execution:

  • Collaborate with front, middle, and back-office leaders to execute cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Aid in the development, management, and tracking of integration projects.
  • Coordinate business activities and resources necessary for strategic solutions.

Strategy Communication:

  • Assist in articulating the company’s strategy and ensuring effective communication of growth and integration initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of overall experience, with 3+ years in top-tier asset management, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of the asset management industry and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and partnership abilities across various functions and management levels.
  • Alignment with the company’s culture, values, and a keen interest in the asset management industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with expertise in financial modeling and data analytics.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15% of the time.
