Job Description:

In this role, you will contribute to the creation, implementation, and enhancement of web-based quantitative tools and algorithms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop: Create and refine web-based quantitative tools to augment investment decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Iterate on existing tools, incorporating feedback and new technological advancements.
  • Research & Collaboration: Engage in research, collaborate with senior researchers, and stay updated on trends in quantitative finance.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial data using statistical methods to provide actionable insights for investment teams.

What We Seek:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Python and its associated data stack.
  • Testing Expertise: Experience with testing techniques (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests).
  • User Experience: Ability to craft a modern, web-based user experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of system design, git, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), caching, performance improvement, and API optimization.
  • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with React, TypeScript, containers, CI/CD pipelines, statistical modeling, exploratory data analysis, and financial industry experience.

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of development experience preferred
