Role Overview:

As a Project Manager within our Transformation Program, you will oversee the implementation of strategic projects. Your responsibilities will include defining project priorities, scope, resource requirements, and ensuring successful project delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and business clients to achieve project objectives and drive change adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams, as well as vendors, to define project priorities, scope, and resource requirements.
  • Review project proposals, set goals, timeframes, budgets, and staffing requirements.
  • Lead requirements definition with business owners and IT resources.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including goals, strategies, risks, and resource oversight.
  • Establish project standards and governance.
  • Excel in change and partner management, building strong partnerships and influencing senior leadership.
  • Schedule project outcomes and tasks, assign responsibilities, and ensure accountability.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and track commitments.
  • Manage scope and change requests.
  • Coordinate testing and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Track project and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

  • PMI Certification (preferred)
  • Agile delivery experience (required)
  • Six Sigma certification (a plus)
  • Prosci ADKAR change management certification (a plus)
  • Financial Services industry experience (a plus)
  • 4+ years of project planning and management experience
  • Experience in leading projects with people, process, and technology components
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships and mentor colleagues
  • Experience in aligning projects with strategic objectives
  • Business process mapping and organizational change experience (preferred)
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Vendor relationship management experience
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma DMAIC methodology (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in a PM capacity
