POSITION SUMMARY

As a Project Manager III, you will lead teams through the implementation of advanced loan/lease origination software. This mid-level role requires managing projects and tasks of varying sizes and complexity levels independently. You will ensure successful project engagements that result in high client and employee satisfaction. Identifying and escalating project risks proactively, contributing to process improvements, and mentoring peer Project Managers are key aspects of this role.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead and participate in strategic project planning sessions
  • Manage all aspects of the project life-cycle from start to finish
  • Create and manage project plans with accurate work activities, dependencies, and milestones
  • Monitor, control, report, and communicate on key project aspects such as scope, budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage project risks, issues, and problems through to closure, negotiating win/win outcomes
  • Prepare accurate status reports and lead status and steering committee meetings
  • Manage and drive the change control process across teams
  • Efficiently utilize resources and clearly communicate work assignments and due dates
  • Coordinate and drive work activities across project teams and departments
  • Accurately forecast resources for assigned projects
  • Ensure smooth transitions from sales to professional services (PS) and PS to support
  • Build strong relationships with team members and clients
  • Adhere to implementation processes and guide clients in best practices
  • Contribute to the improvement of professional services processes, methodologies, and templates
  • Achieve billable targets
  • Coach and mentor junior team members

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
  • Relevant education and certifications can be earned in-role

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Independent working ability with minimal supervision
  • Confidence in managing multiple customers and projects concurrently
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience in one of the following areas:
  • Software implementation
  • Professional Services capacity
  • Equipment finance, leasing, or general commercial lending
  • Salesforce
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This is a remote position
  • Occasional in-person meetings may occur
  • Minimal travel, which may increase based on client needs
