Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst in the Investment Systems group within the IT department. In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, integration engineers, QA automation engineers, investment professionals, vendors, and IT teams to craft comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Your contributions will be integral to our cloud-based Investment Systems Platform, a critical asset shaping investment decision-making.


  • 2-3 years of experience in capturing business requirements, designing solutions, and conducting testing, with a focus on data platforms supporting business analytics, data science, statistical analysis, or quantitative research.
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong data analysis skills to facilitate design and testing.
  • Proficiency in Python (a plus) to support rapid prototyping.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Understanding of data modeling and design, encompassing both conceptual and logical modeling.
  • Experience in onboarding new datasets and ensuring data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture and document requirements, translating them into technically feasible solutions, system designs, and testing protocols for data validations, transformations, reports, extracts, and integration processes.
  • Onboard new datasets and conduct exploratory research and data analysis, while gathering requirements.
  • Develop quick prototypes and perform data testing, encompassing both manual and automated testing, using SQL, Python, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with data sources and third-party vendors to address exceptions.
  • Create and update project artifacts and tools, including task boards, issue lists, user stories, testing documentation, and technical documentation.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Experience working with large datasets and a passion for quantitative analytics.
  • Demonstrated skill sets and a track record on high-complexity projects.
  • Strong facilitation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication across all levels and functional groups. Proficiency in documenting requirements, specifications, test plans, test results, and issues within the appropriate context.
  • A collaborative and high-energy approach, with flexibility and a willingness to take on diverse analysis, testing, and support tasks.
  • Experience handling both structured and unstructured data.
  • Familiarity with BI reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools.
